Avatar: The Legend of Korra

Avatar: The Legend of Korra is an upcoming American animated series which is a sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender (also known as Avatar: The Legend of Aang) that was aired by Nickelodeon on 2005 to 2008. Korra the next reincarnation of Avatar after Aang, a hotheaded teenage female Waterbender from the Northern Water Tribe who already mastered Waterbending, Earthbending, and Firebending and is set to learn Airbending from Aang and Katara’s son Tenzin.

The Legend of Korra is set with at least 70 years after the defeat Ozai The Fire Lord and his daughter Princess Azula. The primary and only confirmed setting is Republic City, a “metropolis powered by steampunk-type technology”, “inhabited by people from all four nations”. There are Anti-Benders in Republic City who are strongly against the art of bending. Here, Korra must deal with rampant crime and an anti-bender revolt.

This series is expected to be more mature than the first one. And plot rumors says that Aang will be in the Spirit world. This new Avatar series will be produced at the Nickelodeon Animation Studios in Burbank, Calif., and is co-executive produced by Joaquim Dos Santos.

Avatar: The Legend of Korra is expected to to air on Nickelodeon in November 2011. Same with you I just cant wait.
